2 FINESORB-3020 Surface Area and Porosimetry Analyzer Finesorb-3020 is Surface Area and Porosimetry Analyzer based on vacuum system from fintec instrument company.you could do the Surface Area analysis, aperture and the distribution of porosity of many powder materials. You can also portray the adsorption isotherms, desorption isotherms, Pore size distribution curve and then confirm the hole features of dusty materials. You could also choose inside degassing station or outside degassing station mode. Mutiple Dewar and multiple detecters, could satisfy the test of many groups of samples at the same time. There have surface detecters inside, coordinate the atomatic rise and reduce installation, sample tube is homoiothermy during the process of test. Record the data at real time, control it with computer software. Finesorb-3020 Surface Area and Porosimetry Analysis could test independently, need not complete the whole process of asorption and desorption for one time. More and more powder materials need to find out Surface Area and porosimetry Properties of itselfs, especially in the domain of catalysis. With the Finesorb-3020 could characterize the powder materials quickly and precise. it is the typical method of scientific exploit and detection. Surface Area as or more than m 2 /g Distribution of Pore nm Degas & Analysis Up to 12 Degas & 6 Analysis Station Dead Volum Precise Revise Recording Ads. & Des. Isotherms Soft Controled Dewar BET,LAN,BJH,HK,DR etc. Analysis Software Catalyst, fertilizer, Cement, Explosive, Eeramic, Graphite, Food Supplement Cosmetic, Mineral, Drug, Alloy, Chemical Fiber, Resin, Eradicator Polymer, Film, Glass, Carbon, Sediment, Metal Powder 2
3 Under designated temperature and pressure, the material will have physical adsorption to gas. Through test the pressure of sample and calculate the volume of adsorption, portray the adsorption and desorption isotherms, with appropriate mathematical model or empirical model to calculate the Surface Area the distribution of hole diameter pore volume of the material. Physical adsorption technology is the known constant volume gas. To add the gas to the sample tube under low temperature environment with pressure difference. Because van der Waals force have made adsorption in surface of material. Under low temperature, weak van der Waals force make gas molecule could adsorb in the surface of powder. The absorbed gas have pressure control for many times, it will absorb in sample for many times. It will test the pressure of sample tube every time. The pressure of sample tube have close relationship with the gas that added to the tube everytime. Through the transformation of the pressure and based on the ideal of gas law could calculate the volume of absorbed gas. Before analysis the sample, surface of materil should be preprocessing. The process of preprocessing is under high temperature and vacuum condition, dislodge the impurities(such as water ) in the surface of sample, and prepare to analysis surface absorption. The prosess named degassing pretreatment. To put the sample that after preprocessing to the analysis table situation. During the process of analysis, the instrument could control the quantitative absorbed gas get into sample tube everytime automatically. As the sample in the sample tube under constant low temperature(such as liquid nitrogen 77k), reduce van der Waals force of absorbed gas molecule. A lot of molecules stay in surface of solid sample. As the increase of gas and alteration of pressure, the gas molecule absorbed in surface of sample could thicken as corresponding rules. During the process of analysis, the instrument will record the data of gas pressure and the amount of adsorbed gas measured under every balanced state. Then portray the curve, named isotherm. Calculate with BET theory model could get the result of Surface Area and the distribution of hole diameter. 3
4 Graphical Interface The instrument through computer software piping diagram valve event sensor readings isotherm and every state could reveal in the software interface convenient and intuitive. Concise and clear dialog box get know about every step and operation Powerful Pre-processing, Analysis Capabilities Degassing pretreatment station, analytical workbench, vacuum system, dewar automatic remove system, Pre-Processing 6 groups of sample, analysis 4 groups of sample at most. Could choose nitrogen, argon, krypton as adsorbate, to satisfy different adsorb needs. Delicacy designed pipe system,under-pressure airproof guarantee that gas line won't leaking under high vacuum. External degassed station Support preprocessing 6 groups sample Could choose nitrogen, argon, krypton flow degassed,or high vacuum degassed. Temperature of degassed from room temperature to 350 Accurate and efficient analysis Add gas with fixed capacity, adsorb and balance have enough time, to guarantee the accuracy of analysis result. Smaller sample tube, more precise dead volume calibrate technique make sample analysis of surface area more precise. Testing saturated vapor pressure of liquid nitrogen at real time, make the result of every group of P/PO more precise. Compatible with a variety of gas, make the analysis of low Surface Area and special Surface Area more precise. BET and distribution of pore size could treatment separate, the analysis time of testing BET surface area just need 15 minute. Could analysis 6 groups of pretreatment and 4 groups of analysis of samples, the instrument could work for 24 hours, the data could be recorded at real time. 4
5 The software record the adsorb isotherm automatically and calculate the parameters of Surface Area distribution of pore size pore volume based on BET langmuir BJH. Then generate report and print out. Or export ASCII document more convenient to connect with Excel and Orgin. After the degassing pretreatment To choose just BET surface of the sample, record the data, input the weight data of sample to software settings box, install the sample tube to 1 area or BET+ GJH distribution of pore size, Open the adsorbed gas cylinders based on hint of 2 the analysis position. sofeware, start up vacuum pump. Software processing, calculate The software record the parameters the parameters of Surface Area, of adsorb isotherms, desorption isotherms, saturated vapor pressure, temperature and so on.make the presentation at real 3 distribution of pore size of adsorb and desorption isotherms, and then print out or export ASCII 4 time. documents. 5
