1 WILLIAM M. MICK McKAMIE MCKAMIE KRUEGER, LLP 941 Proton Rd. San Antonio, Texas (fax) Mick McKamie practices trial law and represents governmental entities as a significant portion of his practice. He is a graduate of the University of Texas and the Texas Tech School of Law. Mr. McKamie earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Texas Tech. Mr. McKamie is a former Assistant City Attorney for Lubbock ( ) and City Attorney for Greenville ( ). He has also served as City Attorney for the Cities of Richwood, Somerville, Ferris and Cottonwood Shores. He is currently the City Attorney for the Cities of Leon Valley and Hondo, Interim City Attorney for the City of Euless, and Associate City Attorney for the City of Boerne. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on municipal and public law issues, focusing on governmental and official immunity, open government, Whistleblower Act, EEOC and employment discrimination, annexation disputes, damages issues, land use litigation, and complex civil litigation. Mr. McKamie is a Research Fellow of the Center for American and International Law, a Fellow of the College of the State Bar of Texas, and a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1992). He currently serves as Chair of the Government Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Texas. He also served as Section Chair for , and is now the first to hold the position twice. Mr. McKamie is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, all federal district courts in Texas, the Fifth and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
