2 Medical Center Title: Clinical Trainee Duties: Administered, scored, and interpreted neuropsychological measures including the Halstead-Reitan Test Battery. I was also responsible for administering psychological assessment measures in a study investigating the effects of dioxin exposure on individual functioning funded by the Center for Disease Control. 12/77 to 7/81 Family Resource Center, St. Louis, MO Title: Director of Clinical Services Duties: Responsible for the administration of clinical services for a private, nonprofit agency offering therapeutic services to families where child abuse and/or neglect was the presenting problem. I was responsible for the clinical supervision of staff and interns, staff development and training, program planning and evaluation, and community education and consultation regarding child abuse and neglect. The position also included coordination of services for Project Impact, a three year, federally funded demonstration project involving a therapeutic preschool for abused and neglected children along with family therapy and parent training for their families. 11/76 to 12/77 Deaconess Hospital, ST. Louis, MO Title: Psychiatric Social Worker Duties: Provided social services for a 55 bed psychiatric unit located within a private, general hospital. I was responsible for group therapy, family counseling, social histories, discharge planning, and clinical consultation to nursing staff, and supervision of graduate social work practicum students. 9/72 to 10/76 Pomona Valley Mental health Center, Pomona, California Title: Psychiatric Social Worker, promoted to Assistant Coordinator of Child- Adolescent Services Duties: Provided individual, group, marital, and family therapy with a varied population of children, adolescents, and adults. I was responsible for intake evaluations, screenings for psychiatric hospitalizations, and emergency walk in and telephone services. I provided mental health consultation and education to community agencies and supervised graduate psychology and social work interns.
