3 Overview This guide will provide instructions on how to install the latest Citrix Client Software on your PC or laptop based on the Internet Browser you are using. Citrix Receiver software is required to be installed to use the mystanwell remote access solution. Instructions are provided for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. NOTE: Instructions for accessing mystanwell via an ipad are available by clicking here. 1. Microsoft Internet Explorer Note: You will require administrative rights on your home PC. 1. Open Internet Explorer 2. In the address bar, type press Enter 3. In the left panel near the bottom, under Need the latest Citrix client? Select Windows Page: 3 of 16

4 4. The following pop up will prompt if you want to run or save the file. Select Run Windows XP Windows 7 5. Wait while the client downloads. Then select Run on the Internet security box 6. Accept all defaults and the program will install Page: 4 of 16

5 NOTE: Windows 7 will appear as below: After selecting Run on the previous screen an installation download screen will appear Upon completion of download and installation the below window will be displayed. 6 2. Apple Safari 1. Open Apple Safari 2. In the address bar, type press Enter 3. In the left panel near the bottom, under Need the latest Citrix client? Select the last option of other Operating Systems 4. The Citrix Download website will now open. On the left side of the page there is a Find Downloads field. Click on Select Product and choose Citrix Receiver Page: 6 of 16

7 5. Under the product field click on Select Download Type and select Receive Easy Install and then press Find 6. In the results window click on the option Detect my device and install Receiver Page: 7 of 16

8 7. The site will conduct a search and identify your machine as a Mac. Click on Download Receiver for Mac. 8. The download will commence and will be visible in the downloads bar on the Safari window. When complete click on the file to launch the installation 9. The install Citrix Receiver window will appear. Click on Install Citrix Receiver.pkg Page: 8 of 16

9 10. An installation window will appear. Follow the prompts to install Citrix Receiver and press Agree to the Software Agreement. 11. You may be prompted to enter your username and password for your PC to complete the installation Page: 9 of 16

11 3. Google Chrome 1. Open Google Chrome 2. Enter in the address field 3. Navigate to Need the latest Citrix client? 4. Select Windows 5. The download will commence and a status bar will appear at the bottom of the screen 6. When the download is complete click on the arrow next to the file name and select Open. A permission to install window will appear, click Yes Page: 11 of 16

13 4. Mozilla Firefox 1. Open Mozilla Firefox 2. Enter in the address field 3. Navigate to Need the latest Citrix client? 4. Select Windows 5. An installation window will appear, press Save File Page: 13 of 16

14 6. The Citrix Client will commence downloading. A progress window will appear 7. After the file has completed downloading, double click on the file to commence installation 8. Select Yes on the next window to allow the program to install on your computer 9. The installation progress window will now be displayed Page: 14 of 16
