3 Join us this winter and explore New York City! RENNERT ADVENTURES WINTER NYC is an all-inclusive English program for students aged 13 to 17. Workshops, field trips, creative activities and fun-filled excursions make RENNERT ADVENTURES WINTER NYC a rich learning experience with unforgettable moments! The program focuses not only on improving English skills, but also on exploring exciting topics like Dance, Media, Fashion, College Bound, and NY Culture through our elective English classes. The program includes 10 general English lessons per week and 10 lessons of an elective per week, at Rennert s school in Midtown Manhattan. Students stay in shared rooms at the Vanderbilt YMCA, and enjoy three meals per day on weekdays, two meals (including brunch) on weekends. 2

5 Fashion If you have a passion for fashion, New York City is one of the style capitals of the world! Get a chance to participate in and produce your own fashion show and learn about famous styles and designers. History of Fashion in New York City Producing a Fashion Show New York Fashion Institute of Technology Rennert Fashion Show Dance Have you dreamed of dancing in vibrant New York City? Get moving with our Dance elective! Learn about different techniques such as ballet, street, jazz, and tap. Students also attend classes at a top NYC dance studio! There is always something new to discover in NYC! 9/11 Memorial Brooklyn Bridge Empire State Building Food MoMA Central Park Statue of Liberty Our students will dine at local restaurants in and around the New York City area and will be treated to a wide variety of cuisines. One thing New York is famous for is its food! Students enjoy three meals a day on the weekdays and two meals a day on the weekend. Spend the afternoon at Top of the Rock and party the night away at a NYE Party! Full calendar of activities and excursions for the rest of the week. No classes will be held the first week.
