Research Interests I am committed to conducting research that would deepen and advance the Freirean concept of rehumanization by recommending an indigenous epistemology to address this vacuum in critical pedagogy. This research would center on an epistemological advancement that would serve to inform Chicana/o students and indeed all students, a path towards rehumanization that would transform their academic identity and more importantly impact the development of their full humanity as colonization has denied Chicana/o students this in the educational system.
