1 Roddy Sage, Executive Chairman Roddy is an associate member of the Institute of Taxation, with over thirty years experience in accounting, international tax planning and investment structuring, enhanced by considerable knowledge of cross-border, onshore and offshore transactions. In his earlier career, he spent over twenty years with a Big Four accountancy firm, fourteen of which were as a partner, including ten years as the Senior Tax Partner for Hong Kong and China. Roddy co-founded AFP Holdings Limited in 2004, a corporate services and taxation advisory group in Hong Kong. The company built strong partnerships in Asia and Europe and provided market entry expertise to Asian countries. In addition, Roddy s knowledge of tax and trust law also facilitated the establishment of a trust and trust administration business focusing on asset protection and succession planning for family owned businesses. 2 Debby Davidson, Managing Director Debby has over twelve years experience in international financial services. She specialises in a broad spectrum of business disciplines including, finance, company restructuring and capital markets transactions. Whilst working in private practice as a lawyer, Debby represented sovereigns, multinationals, corporates, private equity funds, financial institutions and trustees. Debby joined in 2015 following the acquisition of AFP Group. She currently heads up a team of trust and corporate services managers, with a portfolio of over 150 trust clients and 400 corporate clients. In her role as Equiom s Legal Counsel in the Hong Kong office, she is also responsible for the company s compliance and risk management. 3 Severino Sumulong, Chief Operating Officer Severino has over thirty years extensive international legal and business experience. He is a Philippine lawyer by profession and has held senior positions in a number of international companies covering a range of industries including finance, telecommunications and IT. He is well renowned and respected for his legal knowledge in the Asia-Pacific region amongst business leaders and high net worth individuals. Severino joined in January 2015, following the acquisition of AFP Group. He is responsible for business development and for providing legal support and advice to the client teams in Hong Kong, as well as supporting the Group Legal Director with strategic decisions related to the broad range of products and services offered across the Group. 4 V. Johann Espiritu, Director Johann has over fifteen years international legal and business experience. His area of expertise includes cross-border estate planning, Philippine market entry and drafting family constitutions. He has advised on and established numerous family trusts, both onshore and offshore. Johann has previously served as General Counsel to a defence company in Washington, D.C. and is currently Professor of Information Technology Law at the Ateneo de Manila University. Johann joined in January 2015 following the acquisition of AFP Group. 5 Kenneth Yim, Director Kenneth has over ten years professional services experience, specialising in international tax planning. He provides and coordinates tax advice for corporations, high-networth individuals, fund managers and not-for-profit organisations, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Kenneth joined in January 2015, following the acquisition of AFP Group. His principal area of expertise is the structuring of corporate and commercial transactions in a tax-efficient manner. In particular, he deals with restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, finance, intellectual property and licensing, and supply-chain management in a cross border context. In addition, Kenneth has experience in indirect tax issues (such as VAT, real estate transfer tax and stamp duty) and the tax implications of cross-border employment. 6 Rita Kong, Associate Director - Trust & Fiduciary Rita has 15 years of professional experience in trust administration and company secretarial practice and has worked in sizable audit and accounting firms in Hong Kong. She is a Chartered Secretary in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom as well as a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. 7 Kathy Siu, Tax Director Kathy has 20 years of experience in accounting, international and cross-border tax advisory and transfer pricing. She qualified as a UK chartered accountant with a Big Four accounting firm, and later qualified as an International Tax Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She has served as Head of Tax of a large multinational consumer electronics group, as Director Asia Pacific Regional Head Office of an international financial services group, and also as Director - China Tax and transfer pricing of an international tax advisory firm based in Hong Kong. Kathy is experienced in advising corporate clients on re-organisation, transfer pricing strategy, in-bound investments into China and cash repatriation, permanent establishment, beneficial ownership and international assignments.
