Susan served as President of the Minnesota State Bar Association in She was given the Presidents Award by the Minnesota State Bar Association in 2009 for outstanding service to the association and the profession. In 2006 she received the Member of the Year award from the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association for outstanding service and tireless efforts on behalf of the Association. She was one of 25 women recognized in 2005 by The Business Journal as a woman to watch in Minnesota's business community. Susan was selected by Minnesota Lawyer as one of 15 Attorneys of the Year in 2005, in recognition of her efforts on behalf of Minnesota's legal profession.
